Select any poem or poems of the any one author that contain at least 14 lines minimum found in our 11R textbook, get approval from me, and then sign up on a first come first serve basis with no class duplicates 

You will accurately hand copy, then memorize the poem, work in class as directed.

Identify its literary significance (discuss author, literary devices, and historical value) in a paper of 1/2 to 1 page.

You will give me the handwritten copy of the poem, recite the poem in front of the class,  and then explain its literary significance (for this you may read your paper or improvise)

Proper behavior as part of the audience.
